The Inspiring Journey of Violeta,
Founder of Shoeaddic

Amid the 2008 economic crisis, a period marked as the most severe since the Great Depression of 1929, a remarkable artist named Violeta embarked on a journey of resilience and creativity. Her story is a testament to the human spirit's capacity to transform adversity into opportunity, and it serves as the foundation of Shoeaddic, a brand that has left an indelible mark on the world of art and fashion.

The Early Years

Violeta's artistic journey began in a small, picturesque town in Central Bulgaria, where she was nurtured with boundless love by her parents, both dedicated schoolteachers. Her artistic talent, albeit initially met with scepticism, bloomed when, at the tender age of five, she clinched victory in a national children's drawing contest. This early triumph set the stage for her future as a gifted artist. With unwavering support from her parents, she embarked on a path of self-education and exploration, honing her skills in fine arts, with a particular penchant for graphics and portraiture.

Pursuing the Dream

The road to artistic fulfilment was not without its share of challenges. Violeta aspired to enrol in the Schools of Arts in the City of Kazanlak, but the limited openings in communist Bulgaria, where connections often took precedence, left her disheartened. However, her determination remained unshaken. She pursued a college degree in "Preschool Pedagogy and Psychology," where her artistic prowess shone through, earning her recognition through publications and exhibitions in the city of Plovdiv, Bulgaria.

A Leap of Faith

In 1996, Violeta packed her dreams into two suitcases and crossed the ocean to the land of opportunities—Phoenix, Arizona. Her journey led her to Las Vegas, where she continued to thrive as an artist. Notably, during a visit to her hometown of Chirpan, she met the renowned Bulgarian painter Nikola Manev, whose encouragement led to her art being exhibited alongside his works at the "Nikola Manev Art Gallery." The passing of her beloved father, Peter Veltchev, in 2010 further fueled her creative spirit and professional growth.

A World of Recognition

Violeta's artistic journey took a global turn when, during a visit to Chicago in 2011, she encountered the Philippine journalist Jovie Calma, who introduced her to the media world. Subsequent interviews and interactions led to her participation in the 18th Annual Philippine-American Hall of Fame and the publication of her "Fairy Tale Story" piece, with proceeds donated to journalists in Chicago.

Violeta's artistry has transcended traditional boundaries. She specialises in creating 3-D art pieces for homes and offices, attracting numerous requests and show invitations. Her unique perspective is summarized in her own words: "Everything has to move, to pop up, sink, to curve and shine. Somewhere in that movement is the true essence of life." Her ultimate goal is to leave her artistic imprint on five thousand homes, transforming spaces with warmth and comfort through her creations.

A Vision for the Future

As Violeta's journey continues, she envisions a future where she can travel, establish schools, and impart her untraditional art style to children. Her innovative approach to art, emphasizing the importance of motion, has the potential to inspire a new generation of artists. She hopes to garner the support of non-governmental organizations to encourage extracurricular activities for children and their parents.
